Voltage Soccer Academy

The Vermont Voltage Soccer Academy will hold two soccer camps at Northeastern Clinton Central School. The first camp will run July 30 through Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, and will be for boys and girls ages 5-18.

The cost is $115 and each participant will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt, and a ticket to a Voltage game.

The second camp (the Premier camp) will be held July 30 through Aug. 3, from 5-8 p.m., and will be for high-school players. The cost is $125, and each athlete will receive a soccer ball, t-shirt, and a ticket to a Voltage game. This camp is designed to get players in the best shape for the high school season. Also, there are discounts for other family members for both camps.

Fundamental Basketball Camps 2012

Seton Catholic will again offer two weeks of its FUNdaMENTAL Basketball Camp for boys and girls this summer. Prices will remain the same as last year. For new campers, it will be $130 for one week and $240 for two weeks. For returning campers, it will be $110 for one week and $220 for two weeks.

The boys' weeks will be June 25 to June 29 and July 16 to July 20. Get your forms in early as the boys' camp is already half full. The girls' camps will run on July 2 to July 6 and July 23 to July 27. Coaches will include Chris Castine, Ryan Loucy, Mike Castine, Randy Lozier and Gary Castine.

Camps will be available for students entering grades 4 to 12 and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the doors opening at 8:15 a.m. Campers will receive a basketball, t-shirt and camp evaluation.

J & B's Sports Performance Camp

Where: City of Plattsburgh Recreation Facility
Days: Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs. from 8am - 10am

Take advantage of up to six weeks of sport specific strength and training. The coaches of J & B's will emphasize proper form and technique in the traditional weight room exercises to power lifting exercises. Training sessions will include form running, core performance, speed & agility, and power lifting.

BYC Tennis Camp 2012

This program will offer participants an introduction to basic fundamentals and skills in the game of tennis. Children will participate in games and activities that will enhance skills introduced. This program will concentrate on friendly, sportsmanlike competition. Participants will need a hat, sunscreen, and tennis/running shoes . Please also consider the following: Please make the director or recreation assistant aware of any health

BYC Gymnastics Camp

Date: July 9-13, 2012

Location: Trudeau's Gymnastics, 1080 Military Turnpike Ext (Part of X-Plo complex--the gym is a big grey warehouse inside the fenced in area).


Description: Our camp program offers instruction in tumbling skills as well as basic skills on bars, beam, and vault. In order to provide the best experience, campers will be divided into age and skill appropriate groups.
Participants should wear clothes that they can move freely in, such as
shorts and t-shirts or leotards. Bring a water bottle with your name on it or drinks are available for purchase. We also ask that you participate in bare
feet, do not wear tights, and put up your hair if it is long.

North Country Baseball Camp 2012

There are two options this summer for the North Country Baseball Camp.

The first week of camp will be held at South Acres Fields in Plattsburgh, NY. The camp runs June 25-29 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily. Campers for this week must have completed kindergarten. The oldest campers this week must still be eligible to play Little League. The cost for this camp is $100.

The second week of camp will be held July 9-13 at Laphams Mills Park in Peru, NY. The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to Noon on Friday. This camp is for students entering first grade until entering 12th grade. The cost for this camp is $150 with discounts for returning campers and families.
