The Town of Saranac will be holding registration for basketball (grades 1st through 6th) at the Town Hall from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 21 and 23.
A Youth Commission Meeting will be held prior to Mondays' sign-ups, starting at 6 p.m. Coaches are needed for the sixth grade girls and the first and second graders.

Basketball camps return to Saranac
Boys' and girls' FUNdaMENTAL Basketball Camps will be returning to Saranac this summer, 2009. The boys' camps will run from June 29-July 3 and July 13-17. The girls' camps will run from July 6-10 and July 20-24. Camps are open for students entering grades 4-12. (Click on title for more info.)
Costs will remain the same: new campers -- $120 for one week and $220 for two weeks. The cost for returning campers is $100 for one week and $200 for two weeks. Campers will receive a ball, t-shirt and camp evaluation. Doors open at 8:15 a.m. and the camp will end at 1 p.m. For more information, call Gary Castine at 298-5536.

Boys weeks will be June 30-July 4 and July 21-25. Coaches will include Mike Castine, Ryan Loucy, Andrew Castine, Jim Manchester, Gary Castine, and Brad Lavalley. Girls weeks will be July 7-11 and July 28-Aug. 1. Coaches will be Katie Castine, Chad Keysor, Andrew Castine, Mike Castine, and Gary Castine.
